Pricing and agreement
No price on a call or in an article is final until it is confirmed on the phone and agreed before work begins. Cost depends on access, materials, the condition of existing pipes, permits, and the time of the call. You are never required to accept a price, and you may decline the work.
Hidden leaks and buried lines cannot be priced until they are examined, and the price may change if the plumber finds a different problem than expected.
Who performs the work
Services are performed by licensed professionals in New Jersey. You may ask for a license number and check it with the State Board of Examiners of Master Plumbers. Permit rules vary by job, so ask the Westfield construction office before work starts.
Limitation of liability
